Description: YMCA is for any student who needs P.E. and Health Credit. It still costs $40.00 and will teach
you to manage your body and how to use it. We will do a lot of walking, and nutrition study, some health work and include ping-pong and racket ball.
CREDIT: Physical Education and Health
Time: 2-3:30pm
Duration: 1 year
Materials needed: workout clothes, folder with loose-leaf, work-out shoes with socks, inhaler ( if you need one), water bottle.

Students will learn health concepts and log physical activity hours using a heart-rate monitor to earn 1.0 health and physical education credits in this one semester class. Bi-weekly downloads of hear-rate monitor data are required and will be advertised in advance (place, time, day). Students in P.E. Online should sign up for Study Hour at 2 p.m. if possible.
Independent P.E.

Students interested in playing a sport for their zone school or doing a club sport must sign up for Independent P.E. Health and physical education credit will be granted for those students concurrently enrolled in P.E. Online and Independent P.E.
